Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Twale. If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns. This Policy applies to the following products: Digital Goods and App Building Services.

The following terms are applicable for any products or services that You purchased with Us.


Interpretation and Definitions

  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Wiafrica Ltd.
  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service (including software licenses, digital templates, and app subscriptions).
  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods or Services from Us.
  • Service refers to the Website and the App Building Services provided by Wiafrica.
  • Website refers to Twale, accessible from https://twale.app.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so, provided the service development has not commenced or the digital good has not been downloaded/accessed.

The deadline for cancelling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You purchased the Service or Digital Good.

To exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement via:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive your cancellation request. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.


Conditions for Refunds

In order for the Goods or Services to be eligible for a refund, please make sure that:

  • The request is made within the last 14 days of purchase.
  • For Digital Goods: The content has not been downloaded, accessed, or utilized.
  • For Services: The app building process (coding, design, or project setup) has not explicitly begun.

The following Goods/Services cannot be returned or refunded:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized (e.g., Custom App Development once work has started).
  • The supply of Digital Goods which are not suitable for return due to their nature (e.g., downloaded software, license keys revealed).
  • Subscription fees for periods that have already commenced.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds of any merchandise or service that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.


Revocation of Access (Returns)

As our products are entirely digital and service-based, there are no physical items to return. Instead of a physical return, the following applies:

  • Digital Assets: For services involving intellectual property transfer or downloadable assets, You must destroy all copies and cease using any delivered materials immediately upon cancellation.
  • Service Termination: Any ongoing projects will be halted, and access to development environments or beta builds will be revoked.

Exchanges

We only replace or rectify Digital Goods if they are defective (e.g., corrupted files, broken download links, or non-functional software keys). If You need to exchange a defective digital item for the same item, please contact Us.

Gifts

If the Digital Goods or Services were marked as a gift when purchased and then sent directly to You, You'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the cancellation is processed, a digital gift certificate or credit code will be emailed to You.

If the purchase was not marked as a gift, We will send the refund to the gift giver and they will be notified of the return.
